Traditionally the club sells cooked breakfasts from a stall at the local Farmers Market which takes place on the first Saturday of every month. Our presence at the market gives us visibility and valuable opportunities to interact with the local community.
In addition, the income from book sales goes towards literacy projects.
Due to Covid 19 the monthly Farmers Market were postponed. During Covid 19 Lockdown Level 2 there will monthly markets with limited stalls as of September. Our club will hold a stall but only selling secondhand books.
The Hoedspruit Rotary Club was chartered in October 2015 and the Club has Non-Profit Organisation (NPO) and Public Benefit Organisation (PBO) status, which means that there are substantial tax benefits to sponsors.
